To support this commitment, they are looking for a talented Senior Food Technologist to join them.
Working as part of a collaborative team, your technical capabilities and industry experience will enable you to:
- Work with sales and production teams to develop applications that provide solutions to manufacturing issues and end product enhancements, particularly in the meat products sector
- Support the procurement function by undertaking ingredient analysis for quality and stability
- Provide collaborative support for customer NPD trials, including on-site expertise as required
- Ensure all reference material is current and complete through comprehensive documentation of all new applications & variations
- Contribute to quality, service and safety initiatives as part of the company’s global vision and operational excellence.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold qualifications in Food Technology, Meat Science or Laboratory Science
- Have significant experience in a food manufacturing company or research environment (10 years), MUST HAVE expertise in meat processing technology
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be equally at home in a lab or customer environment
- Be creative in your approach with a genuine curiosity for new environments and see a challenge as an opportunity
- Be able to combine technical and commercial perspectives in your daily approach.
