Are you an experienced WHS Coordinator who enjoys being close to the action but is ready for greater influence and responsibility?

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has built strong foundations in Work Health & Safety and is now ready to step up and broaden their impact, working closely alongside an experienced Quality, Safety and Compliance Manager.

In this role, you will help strengthen and support the organisation’s safety-first culture. You will partner with leaders across the business, coach teams, identify risks early and contribute to strategies that protect people and improve outcomes.

This is a role where your voice will be heard and your ideas will make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of WHS policies, procedures and risk management frameworks aligned with legislation
  • Promote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention and continuous improvement
  • Conduct site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Lead incident reporting and investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Partner with the Training Manager to deliver WHS inductions and toolbox talks
  • Support managers and supervisors with practical safety guidance and coaching
  • Act as a key contact for injury management and return-to-work processes
  • Track and report safety metrics including LTIFR and TRIFR

About You

You may currently be working as a WHS Coordinator or Safety Advisor and feel ready to step into a role where you can contribute more broadly while still learning and developing under an experienced leader.

You will bring:

  • Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline (highly regarded)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a WHS coordination role
  • Strong understanding of WHS and Workers Compensation legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence stakeholders
  • A practical and solutions-focused approach to safety
  • Strong attention to detail and solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Current driver’s licence and own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
