A newly created Key Account Manager opportunity has become available with our client, designed to support and grow relationships with key customers while unlocking new commercial opportunities. This role will play a critical part in managing major accounts, maintaining strong communication with senior stakeholders, and driving sustainable sales growth.
Among your responsibilities will be:
- Being the primary point of contact for your portfolio of key accounts, driving market share, profitability and product of choice positioning
- Build relationships at senior & executive levels with prospective clients, managing communications and presentations to secure new business
- Lead negotiations for contract renewals comprising pricing matrices, rebates and ranges
- Liaise with marketing team to maximise initiatives and market exposure
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams to facilitate excellence in service and end user satisfaction
- Drive brand awareness through participation at major industry events and client functions
- Report industry trends and competitor activity through regular reports and maintaining sales database systems.
We are looking for:
- An experienced, passionate and forward thinking individual with at least 3-5 years experience in a senior Key Account Management role
- Demonstrated expertise with large retail groups, specialist re-sellers and online retailers
- Proven commercial acumen with a specific expertise in managing complex relationships and negotiating mutually profitable outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders from frontline through to senior management level
- An affinity for emerging technology coupled with a total solutions approach
- The passion, determination and enthusiasm to drive performance excellence across Australia.
