Known for their high-quality metal products and their excellent technical support base, this organisation has an exciting vision for its future. With specialty products used in the construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and mining sectors, they have a strong footprint and a growing presence across Australia.  Currently, they have an opportunity for a dynamic BDM for their Queensland territory.

As the Queensland BDM you will:  

  • Grow the business through dynamic management of a portfolio of client accounts, providing information on new products, project pricing and customer service
  • Liaise with technical support teams to develop solutions to new applications and resolve product related enquires
  • Work with Regional Management to implement strategic marketing campaigns
  • Provide regular reporting on competitor activity and local market trends
  • Maintain regular call cycle and CRM records.

To be considered for this opportunity you will:

  • Have solid working knowledge of the metals industry
  • Have at least 3 years in-field sales experience, ideally with involvement in the equipment manufacturing, automotive, industrial or mining sectors
  • Be an excellent communicator with proven written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Have well defined time and territory management ability
  • Thrive in an autonomous role with high levels of self-motivation and accountability
  • The desire to build a successful career in a progressive and growing company.
