Working Directly with Trades & Supervisors

Our client is a well-established service business supporting customers across industrial and commercial sites. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Field Technician who’s comfortable working on site and dealing directly with trades and supervisors.
This role is ideal for someone with a trade background or strong site experience who enjoys hands-on work, variety and being trusted to get the job done properly.
The Role
You’ll be working across customer sites carrying out:
- Calibration, testing, inspection and minor repair of equipment
- Site inductions, JSAs and safe work practices
- Liaising with site contacts and supervisors
- Accurately recording data and job details
- Identifying, tagging and reporting failed equipment
- Ensuring completed equipment is returned clean, organised and ready for use
- Managing items requiring maintenance or additional work
- Completing reports, certificates and job documentation
- Raising purchase orders and invoices as required
- Identifying opportunities for additional services or products
You’ll be the face of the business on site, so professionalism, communication and reliability IS essential.
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- A trade background or solid experience on industrial or commercial sites
- Confidence dealing with tradespeople and site supervisors
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
