Working from their Melbourne HO,  you will be part of a dynamic central finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the AP functions including scanning and checking invoices
  • Following up outstanding accounts and assisting the AR team with debtor management activities
  • Providing assistance with billings for projects in progress and scheduled maintenance contracts
  • Assisting with supplier and bank reconciliation
  • Updating financial transactions in ERP software
  • Supporting cash flow analysis and forecasting by collating relevant data and compiling into reports in a concise and timely manner
  • Assisting with general finance team enquiries and administration activities as required.

To be considered for these opportunities you will:

  • Have strong finance knowledge gained through certificate / diploma qualification for the Trainee role, while the Graduate opportunity will be degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or other business related disciplines
  • Possess Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Access, Word) with ideally some exposure to Great Plains or similar ERP system
  • Be a quick and willing learner, with a clear passion for finance and the determination to grow and build a successful career
  • Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently  with internal and external stakeholders in a professional environment
  • Be that team member who is always willing to go the extra mile, helping out wherever required and absorbing the learning opportunities this creates
  • While not essential, exposure to the construction or facilities maintenance sector would be highly advantageous.
