About the Role:
In this entry-level role, you’ll be learning the ropes of a busy, multi-site payroll function. Supporting the payroll team, you’ll help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing across multiple sites
- Maintaining accurate employee data and supporting compliance with EBAs and awards
- Responding to payroll queries and supporting issue resolution
- Assisting with superannuation, leave and deduction processing
- Supporting STP compliance and ATO reporting
- Updating MyGov records and assisting with administrative payroll tasks
What You Bring:
- Some experience or exposure to payroll or finance administration (preferred)
- A strong willingness to learn and grow in a payroll-focused role
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Exposure to payroll systems (Sage Micropay or similar) is a bonus
- A proactive and positive attitude
