Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a genuine all-rounder, someone who loves building relationships, solving problems and getting results. If you know the tools or hardware industry and enjoy working closely with customers, this is a role where your effort really counts.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the sales team across your region and help deliver the company’s sales goals
  • Look after key customers, making sure they’re well-supported and kept in the loop
  • Develop account plans and spot new opportunities to grow sales
  • Negotiate deals, follow through on contracts and make sure everything runs smoothly
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager on national accounts
  • Jump on new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
  • Share updates and ideas in quarterly sales meetings where your input will be valued

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven success in sales or account management within tools, hardware or trade supplies
  • A self-starter who’s organised, motivated and great with people
  • Strong communicator who can build trust and long-term relationships
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a team but is just as comfortable working independently
