We’re looking for an experienced Area Manager to take ownership of the NSW territory, managing a diverse portfolio of independent hardware stores and industrial resellers (no Big Box retailers here)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and growing a territory that includes Mitre 10, Home Timber & Hardware, HBT members, and industrial distributors
- Building long-term relationships with customers who value quality and independence
- Selling across a diverse product portfolio, offering end-to-end solutions tailored to each customer
- Working autonomously to manage your time, schedule, and travel effectively
- Travelling regularly across NSW, including overnight stays as needed
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years in a similar Area Manager, BDM or Account Management role (ideally within hardware, tools or building products)
- Proven sales success and a strategic mindset (you know how to identify opportunities and close the deal)
- Confidence in presenting to all types of customers from trade counters to business owners
- Strong territory planning and time management skills
- Passion for the independent channel and delivering outstanding service
