We’ve partnered with a well-established company seeking a commercially driven National Sales Manager to lead sales growth and strengthen long-term partnerships across the sporting landscape.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing strategic sales initiatives, expanding market share and building meaningful relationships with sporting organisations across Australia. This is a genuine opportunity to make a lasting impact on both professional and community sport while leading commercial growth for an organisation with an outstanding reputation.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on sales leadership role suited to someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities and creating long-term partnerships.
You’ll work closely with internal teams across Product, Marketing and Customer Experience to deliver tailored solutions while driving sustainable revenue growth and exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify, secure and grow new business opportunities across professional and community sport.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with sporting organisations and key stakeholders.
- Manage major customer accounts, commercial negotiations and contract renewals.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and strategic account plans.
- Collaborate across the business to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Provide market insights to support future product and service development.
About You
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Proven success in a senior sales or business development role.
- Existing relationships within Australian sporting organisations (essential).
- Experience within the sporting goods or sports industry.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Experience managing complex customer relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills and CRM proficiency.
- A genuine passion for sport and growing participation across Australia.
Experience with tenders, procurement processes and merchandising or e-commerce programs will be highly regarded.
