The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing business with a reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. They are seeking a proactive and highly organised Logistics Administrator to become an integral part of their operations team.

This is far more than a traditional logistics role. You’ll coordinate freight and dispatch while supporting online order fulfilment, inventory management, customer enquiries and sales administration. Working across both the office and warehouse, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products are delivered accurately, customers receive exceptional service, and daily operations run efficiently.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating inbound and outbound freight, including bookings, dispatch documentation, shipment tracking and resolving delivery issues.
  • Picking, packing and dispatching online orders, ensuring orders are processed
  • Coordinating stock movements, ensuring products are allocated, prepared and delivered.
  • Liaising with freight providers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Supporting the sales team with production, shipping and invoicing reports.
  • Responding to customer enquiries while resolving operational issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records across freight, inventory, online orders and customer transactions.
  • Assisting with stocktakes, inventory control and general warehouse administration.
  • Contributing ideas to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
  • Providing general administrative support across the business as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in logistics, freight, warehouse administration, operations support or a similar administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Confident computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Experience with Shopify, ShipStation or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
  • Proactive attitude, communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
