The Opportunity
Every week brings a different challenge and a new opportunity to make an impact.
You’ll take ownership of your learning calendar while partnering with HR and operational leaders to build capability across the business. From facilitating engaging workshops and onboarding programs to coaching leaders, coordinating learning initiatives and developing digital learning content, you’ll play an important role in creating practical learning experiences that support both employee growth and business performance.
You’ll also analyse learning data, monitor program effectiveness and identify opportunities to continuously improve capability across the network. Whether it’s strengthening onboarding, improving compliance, supporting leadership development or responding to operational trends, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how learning is delivered and experienced across the organisation.
Based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, you’ll support operational teams across Australia with regular travel to sites to build relationships and deliver training where it matters most.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate and deliver learning programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance and capability development.
- Facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions and coaching conversations for frontline employees and leaders.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and implement practical learning solutions.
- Support leadership development initiatives that build confidence and performance.
- Manage learning administration, including scheduling, attendance, reporting and Learning Management System maintenance.
- Develop and maintain digital learning content through Workday Learning and other learning platforms.
- Work alongside subject matter experts to create practical, business-focused learning resources.
- Monitor learning participation, completion rates and program effectiveness, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to employee engagement, culture and people development initiatives across the business.
About you
You might already be working in Learning & Development, Training or Capability or perhaps you’re an HR professional who has gained exposure to learning and development and is ready to build a career in this space.
Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping people succeed and enjoy working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll bring:
- Prioir experience within the tourism, hospitality, travel, aviation, accommodation or similar customer-facing multi-site service environment where developing frontline teams is central to business success.
- Experience in Learning & Development, training, facilitation, coaching or capability development.
- Confidence presenting to groups and facilitating engaging workshops for diverse audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Experience using a Learning Management System such as Workday Learning (or similar) will be highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for developing people and creating positive learning experiences.
Additional Information
A current driver’s licence and the ability to complete a police check are essential.
