Our client is a well-established global organisation with an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. They are seeking an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales professional to join their team in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team while ensuring customers receive a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to final delivery.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Sales Manager and Business Development Manager, you’ll become the hub of the sales operation; coordinating orders, communicating with customers, liaising with internal departments and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team across existing accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Process customer orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Prepare quotations, shipping documentation and sales administration.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely follow-up.
  • Liaise with warehouse, procurement and quality teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate customer projects and monitor progress from start to finish.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation meets quality standards.

About You

You are organised, proactive and genuinely enjoy helping customers. You have the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience in internal sales, customer service or sales support.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask in a busy environment.
