Designed with the latest trends in decorative metal panelling, this innovative and agile Australian business is scaling new heights in building facades and landscaping. Staffed by experienced and talented engineers and a dedicated support team, they are seeking an equally dynamic individual to capitalise on the growing opportunities across NSW and Queensland.
Reporting to the General Manager, your role will focus on:
- Engaging with builders, architects and developers to identify new opportunities to transform projects with both in-stock and customised decorative panelling
- Developing and maintain effective networking, ensuring you are the first to know about new projects and opportunities
- Assist with the responses to RFI, RFQ and formal tender processes, ensuring accuracy of both technical and commercial terms
- Effective negotiation of contracts with emphasis on manufacturing efficiency and healthy margins
- Representing company at customer events, trade displays and industry events
- Maintaining CRM data and territory reporting including emerging trends, competitor activity and future opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be an experienced BDM with proven track record in the Building & Construction sector, ideally with exposure to metals and decorative panelling
- Thrive in a fast-paced, competitive sector with the ability to identify and manage complex sales across multiple channels
- Be commercially astute and an exceptional negotiator employing a total solutions approach
- Have excellent communication skills and experience in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Have the flexibility to travel as needed to meet the demands of the role
- Relish the opportunity for full autonomy and ownership of your territories.
