When your home is damaged by fire or flood, you want a building company in your corner. THAT is exactly what our client does, supports you by providing solutions to ensure your home is repaired efficiently and with the quality finish you deserve. With growth, they are seeking an additional Project Coordinator to be part of this excellent team.
Working across multiple sites, your role will focus on supervising the work undertaken on each project. This will include:
- Coordinating all trades, subcontractors and suppliers to commence repair work within agreed times and budgets
- Undertake site inspections, assess potential risks and develop SWMS as required
- Liaise with Admin Support team to obtain permits or other local government requirements as appropriate
- Inspect work for quality and regulatory compliance for each trade
- Monitor costs against budgets and maintain accurate records in system
- Weekly updates to Customer Service staff on progress and any changes to be related to clients
- Ensure compliance with WHS protocols and continuous evaluation of risk minimisation opportunities
- Collating of full documentation and signing off on completed works.
We are looking for:
- Trade qualified carpenter, ideally with Certificate in Building & Construction
- Thorough understanding of Victorian building codes, legislation and required permits
- Excellent time and organisational skills
- Hands-on experience coordinating all trades, plus exposure to working with subcontractors as required
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage costs and deliver projects within agreed budgets
- The ability to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders, communicating in a clear and concise manner
- A current Driver’s Licence
