Starting 2024 with energy and an exciting pipeline of new projects, this award winning company is noted for their bespoke constructions across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. As a result of continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their growing team.

Working from concept through to completion of each project, your role will include:

  • Liaising with sales, architects, engineers and clients to establish the scope of each project and develop comprehensive costings
  • Developing project quotations and submitting to management for final approval
  • Tracking variations and cost of materials and/ or labour changes throughout the project and updating system to reflect these changes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements leading to reduction in costs while maintaining quality standards
  • Communicating with all stakeholders across the life of the project, leading to an exceptional experience for clients and solid internal relationships
  • General administrative functions as appropriate.

As an experienced Estimator you will:

  • Ideally hold qualifications in Building & Construction, backed by practical estimating experience in custom home development
  • Have exceptional mathematical skills backed by sound  knowledge of architectural drawings and site plans
  • Demonstrate excellent communications skills and the ability to generate  professional presentations for clients and other stakeholders
  • Have solid reporting skills with the ability to analyse and present data in an appropriate manner
  • Be IT savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (including Excel) and building sector software such as BuildTrent or similar
